House of Hiranandani celebrates Kite Flying Festival with fun and fervour

When was the last time you saw a sky full of kites, a day full of fun, food, and color, and hundreds of people reliving their childhood memories?

On Jan 12th, 2020, House of Hiranandani celebrated the festival of kites at their Bannerghatta township in Bangalore. A day so splendid that it brought over 700 residents out in the lush, green lawns of Bannerghatta, to celebrate the joyous fervour of Makar Sankranti in the truest spirit of a community lifestyle.

“It was such a fun filled day. It brought back some very fond memories of flying kites as kids. It was the perfect dose of nostalgia we all needed,” said one of the House of Hiranandani residents. The kite carnival was not only a fiesta for kids and young adults, but also parents, grandparents, and pets. The day started with engaging activities and games for all age groups, such as balloon shooting, Jenga, and caricature, to slowly moving on to food trucks, flea market, music, dance, and hours and hours of kite flying.

The kite flying festival was a huge success as it brought everyone together out in the open to spend time, interact, and engage in similar interests. “We have not experienced anything like this before. The fest was organized so well, especially all the kite flying arrangements for all the residents”. Much like the other days at House of Hiranandani’s luxury apartments in Bangalore, this kite flying festival was also a thoughtful initiative to foster community living among the residents.
